Edmonton Public Schools teachers and principals work in schools and buildings across the city supporting students of all ages and needs, and in many capacities. Teachers can specialize in specific areas ranging from languages and arts, to special education and early childhood development.
We recruit teachers to a pool of teaching applicants on an ongoing basis. If you are successfully added to the teacher applicant pool, you can request to work as a substitute teacher. When a school has a teaching position to fill, we refer qualified applicants from the teacher applicant pool to the principal for consideration.
Teachers are represented by the Alberta Teachers' Association Local 37.
We’re eager to learn about the abilities and experiences you can bring to Edmonton Public Schools. To make sure your application reflects everything you have to offer, we’ll need you to review and complete the documents below.
To help us keep track of your information and review applications more efficiently, we can only accept online applications. We’ll ask you to create an account with us so you can submit your application and sign up for job alerts.
